摘要: This study aimed at determining if synovial cell cultures from rheumatoid arthritis (RA), osteoarthritis (OA), and healthy controls (HC) differ are suitable disease models in pharmacological studies, tested their response to some anti-inflammatory drugs. Synovial cells were isolated membrane or joint fluid. Cells cultivated exposed no TNF-α stimulation without, the presence of, betamethasone, ibuprofen, a standardized ginger extract. Concentrations of panel cytokines, growth factors, chemokines mapped for each culture condition. Our secreted an increased amount cytokines IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8 all conditions. OA showed higher IL-6 lower IL-1β production, when not stimulated, than RA HC cells, which similar. caused similar release groups. Ibuprofen effect on cytokine while extract was betamethasone. Ginger as effective agent betamethasone this vitro model. Cultured fibroblast-like synoviocytes subjects promise be useful model, but further support results such model needed.
