摘要: Aim To describe the prevalence of diagnosed and undiagnosed diabetes prediabetes for New Zealand adults. Methods The 2008/09 Adult Nutrition Survey was a nationally representative, cross-sectional survey 4,721 Zealanders aged 15 years above. Self-reported 2010 American Diabetes Association cutoffs HbA1c were used to define diabetes, prediabetes. Prevalence rates calculated age-specific compared with those from Virtual Register. Results Overall, 7.0%, 25.5%. higher in men (8.3%, 95% CI: 6.4, 10.1) than women (5.8%, 4.7, 7.0), among obese (14.2%, 11.6, 16.9) normal weight group (2.5%, 1.4, 3.6). highest Pacific people (6.4%, † ‡
