摘要: Diarrheagenic E. coli continues to be an important pathogen causing significant illness in animals and humans. Despite the fact that considerable investigations have been done following initial discovery of enterotoxigenic Escherichia (ETEC) enterohemorrhagic (EHEC), there are currently no available licensed broadly protective, ETEC nor EHEC vaccines. The significant, yet unsuccessful efforts obtaining a vaccine candidate provided information on strategies consider future formulations. There now new promising candidates based this pioneering work, even though they not generated successful This chapter is focused outstanding findings their impact human public health.
