摘要: As has been suggested by several theorists (e.g., Ballard-Reisch & Weigel, Chapter 22, this volume; Kelley, 1983; Levinger, 1965, 1979, Johnson, 1991, 4, Rusbult, 1980, Sabatelli, 10, volume), it is important, given the dynamic nature of close relationships, to regard commitment as a process rather than static construct. Thus, most appropriate index not its level or amount at time, but degree variability in over time. Unfortunately, research area advanced beyond exploration variables that seem enhance undermine interpersonal commitments. What needed point are programs focus on ways which various dimensions interact, both with one another and other relevant factors, course relationship promote stability. The goal chapter explore more fully such developmental perspective commitment.
