Effects of Airflows on Nanosecond Pulsed Dielectric Barrier Discharge at Atmospheric Pressure

摘要: Dielectric barrier discharge in air at atmospheric pressure is produced using nanosecond pulsed supply. The effects of airflows on the characteristics, such as current, breakdown voltage, uniformity, and luminous intensity, are investigated different gaps pulse repetitive rates. peak value primary current increased intensity decreased when airflow rate increases from 0 to 10 m/s any gap frequency. At 1200-Hz rate, becomes more uniform bigger voltage introduced into gap. However, 100-Hz uniformity does not change decreases experimental results also show that characteristics have significant changes with increasing m/s, while almost no obvious observed 30 m/s.
