摘要: Fe–benzenetricarboxylic (Fe–BTC) synthesized by ultrasonic irradiation as a novel photocatalyst was investigated for degradation of methylene blue (MB) UV/photocatalyst system. In this study, the first time, facile method employed to prepare Fe–BTC. The effects temperature (50 and 70 °C) time (90 120 min) were get optimum photocatalyst. Synthesized Fe–BTC samples characterized FT-IR, PXRD, FESEM, PL, BET analyses UV–Vis spectroscopy. nanoparticles obtained smaller more homogeneous than those previously reported. showed good photocatalytic performance. Fe–BTC70–120 sample has shown highest activity. enhanced performance related two important factors which are inhibition recombination process charge carriers also increase in total surface area kinetics study followed Langmuir–Hinshelwood pseudo-first-order theory. due particles lower electron–hole degradation. results mechanism reactivity hydroxyl radical (•OH) oxidation stability test high three cycles. Photocatalytic MB new with activity recycling may provide choice wastewater treatment.
