摘要: ABSTRACT. A preliminary paleomagnetic study of rocks from the Hoyada Verde Formation, exposed in Sierra de Barreal, Western Precordillera (31.7°S; 69.5°W), has shown that these are carriers a secondary remanent magnetization, acquired during folding this formation. The position computad pole (356.2°E-41.9°S, D1=8.3°,D2=6.0°) is concordant with Late Carboniferous poles stable areas South America and indicates age Carboniferous. cratonic al so suggests crustal block was not affected by tectonic rotations, determined previous studies, took place !he Permian region Gondwanic continental margin
