摘要: The ALien Biotic IndEX (ALEX) has been recently proposed to evaluate biological invasions in soft-bottom macro-invertebrate assemblages. present paper proposes the use of ALEX sessile assemblages Mediterranean hard bottom habitats and tests it along gradients invasion. For five invasive macroalgae a variable number case studies per each four were examined from available data sets. study samples attributed levels invasion depending on abundance invading macroalgae. Results showed that application bottoms allows qualify level considered gradients. Moreover, decline index values matched impact species also suggest concurrent indices benthic quality status can be valuable tool assess biopollution habitats.
