Reduction of bacteria in storage system of sewage effluents

摘要: The present work is aimed to investigate the linear regression model of total coliform (TC), faecal (FC) and enterococci (ENT) responses in storage system sewage effluents at different temperatures (room temperature 25 ± 2 °C, 55 65 °C). Five litres (v/v) effluent samples was stored room (25 ± 2 °C) for 1, 2, 3 4 weeks. In order response bacteria thermal conditions, were 65 °C a water bath shaker 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110 120 min, respectively. results indicated that significantly (p < 0.01) effected reduction TC (33%), FC (36.6%) ENT (47.8%). Moreover, met WHO guidelines after two weeks period temperature. had more significant influence on TC, ENT. reductions 49.6 versus 64, 47.7 83.2% 47.4 57.3%, (Gram-positive bacteria) exhibited resistance than (both are Gram-negative bacteria). This might be due differences cell wall structure. It can concluded has potential indicator bacteria.
