摘要: Measurements were made of the extent sole and white line lesions on claws 115 Holstein-Friesian cows at least three most 16 occasions, some followed up to their third lactation. All measurements between 12 weeks before calving 45 after calving. In total, 1016 repeated observations made. Correlations calculated pairs claws, types lesion (sole line), different (number lesions, proportion claw affected, maximum severity score affected weighted for severity). The outer hind had greatest both types. Spearman correlation coefficients confidence intervals measured strength association. associations positive, suggesting that did not occur in isolation. Sole associated individual observation points. Lesions left right markedly similar, except two inner claws.
