摘要: An electrostatic lens system which compensates for chromatic aberration has been tested in an electron spectrometer. The results indicate that this is suitable comparisons of peak intensities electron‐impact spectra. Relative vibrational progressions belong to a single electronic transition have studied N2, CO, and NH3 found be nearly independent the scattering angle. Electron‐impact spectra reported helium, nitrogen, oxygen, argon, nitric oxide, nitrous ammonia, water vapor, carbon dioxide, ethylene, acetylene, benzene at kinetic energies between 33 100 eV. Spectral regions special interest are encountered CO2 C6H6.
