摘要: The number of patients requiring revision total hip arthroplasty continues to increase each year. Accurate preoperative planning is a key factor in obtaining good result. Radiographis provide little information concerning the actual extent acetabular defects. Computed tomography-generated models ofthe acetabulium can surgeon with accurate size and location Evaluation radiographs 24 cases showed that alone failed detect all 13 anterior wall defects (P < .001), 8 18 posterior (44.4%, P 19 segmental central (42%, which were easily identified models. This study based on foam accurately predicted implant used 22 (92%).
