摘要: The aim of this study was to describe the degree self-stigma in patients with schizophrenia across three Latin-Americans countries (Bolivia, Chile and Peru). included 253 outpatients that were assessed using Internalized Stigma Mental Illness Scale (ISMI). results show 48.7% from Bolivia report high internalized stigma compared 38.6% 28.6% Peru. There no statistically significant differences ISMI mean total scores for country (p = 0.057), however, there on two subscales: alienation social withdrawal which had highest scores. In conclusion, even though these share several common cultural characteristics, are also some between them patients' self-stigma.
