摘要: The excessive growth of a tumor requires high rates glucose uptake and glycolysis continuous recruitment new blood vessels. Here, we provide several lines evidence showing that pyruvic acid, the end product glycolysis, exhibits strong angiogenic activity. Pyruvic acid promoted angiogenesis in chorioallantoic membrane assay vivo mouse Matrigel plug assay. also positively affects cascade, DNA synthesis, migration, tube formation bovine aortic endothelial cells. Furthermore, mRNA expression fibroblast factor receptor-2 vascular was enhanced by acid. These results strongly suggest plays an important role for metastasis.
