摘要: Summary. Improvement of erythropoiesis following successful human renal transplantation in eight patients was monitored by sequential measurements haemoglobin, red-cell creatine, absolute reticulocyte count and estimates serum immunoreactive erythropoietin (siEp). SiEp increased five after transplant, three cases almost immediately a return to normal plasma creatinine. The increase siEp followed rise the creatine finally an haemoglobin level. As approached levels decline preceded fall levels. Red-cell also fell, though more gradually than count. Acute graft rejection (in two patients) associated with siEp. Chronic one patient) persistent increases siEp, creatine; this patient subsequently developed erythrocytosis.
