摘要: Background: Information on prevalence of genital Chlamydia trachomatis in young men attending Australian general practices is scarce. Objective: We aimed to estimate the chlamydia this group; establish behaviours associated with infection, and evaluate practitioner follow up positive cases. Methods: Sexually active (aged 15-29 years) 10 Perth, Western Australia, were tested for completed a self report questionnaire concerning sexual symptoms. Results: Prevalence was 3.7% (95% CI: 2-6%, n=14/383). High rates risky observed both negative participants. The association between status however, not statistically significant. Treatment notification cases usually undertaken, but GPs did always check that patients had contacted partners. Conclusion: found little relationship reported behaviour infection men. It may be appropriate offer screening all at risk individuals.
