摘要: A total of 87 soil profiles sampled from five types wetlands in the Pearl River estuary were analyzed to investigate surficial and vertical distributions heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn). The results show that directly connected with rivers (e.g., riparian wetlands, estuarine mangrove wetlands) has much higher metal concentrations than those indirectly pond reclaimed wetlands). river water is major pollution source for all investigated metals. distribution can be classified into three patterns: (i) linear pattern. concentration gradually decreases an increase depth (for wetlands); (ii) irregular stable pattern (iii) middle enrichment In addition river-borne inputs, a variety vegetation composition, hydraulic conditions, human activities also contribute variation different wetlands. Soil properties particle size, pH, salinity, SOM) affect trace each layer. industrial wastewater. Other sources include agriculture domestic premises, atmospheric deposition. This study provides sound basis risk assessment studied wetland conservation general.
