摘要: The use of forced-air warming is associated with costs for the disposable blankets. As an alternative method, we studied heat transfer a reusable gel-coated circulating water mattress placed under back in eight healthy volunteers. Heat flux was measured six calibrated transducers. Additionally, temperature, skin and core temperature were measured. Water set to 25 degrees C, 30 35 41 C. calculated by multiplying contact area. Mattress used determine exchange coefficient conduction. related following equation: = 10.3 x - 374 (r(2) 0.98). conduction 121 W . m(-2) C(-1). maximal 18.4 +/- 3.3 W. Because small effect on balance body, only cannot replace system.
