摘要: Terrestrial isopods and millipedes, members of the invertebrate macro-decomposer guild, were collected through pitfall traps in three Swiss cities (Zurich, Lucerne, Lugano). A total 7,198 individuals 17 isopod species (7093 ind.), 10 millipede (105 ind.) captured. Besides Alpine endemic (Trichoniscus alemannicus) (Cylindroiulus verhoeffi), urban assemblages mainly composed widespread, native European even cosmopolitan species, which are frequent anthropogenic areas. Overall richness (isopods millipedes combined) was similar Zurich (17 species) Lucerne (16), while only 13 sampled Lugano. According to Sorensen index similarity, composition more alike, one Lugano distinct from other two cities. This result can be explained by spatial proximity north Alps compared Lugano, is located distantly south Alps. Dominant found widespread synanthropic temperate Europe(Porcellio scaber, Trachelipus rathkii Ophyiulus pilosus) dominant (Trachelipus razzautii) a with north-eastern Mediterranean distribution. Our study reveals that fauna consists but narrower distribution (e.g. Trichoniscus alemannicus, Cylindroiulus verhoeffi) may also find suitable habitats Despite some signs biotic homogenization, our compositional differences between northern southern suggest geographical effects regional pool.
