摘要: The prevalence of anxiety and loneliness on college campuses the simultaneous reduction in counseling center resources has created a need for creative approaches that meet needs student populations. This exploratory study evaluated effectiveness an animal-assisted therapy (AAT) outreach program symptoms among students (N = 55) at small arts college. Results revealed significant decreases self-reported scores following AAT intervention. Additionally, goals sessions approach interventions significantly predicted lower but did not predict scores. Lastly, interaction with dog was identified as most impactful aspect results this reveal may be efficient effective way university centers to growing demands their
