摘要: There is an urgent need to develop novel therapies for controlling recurrent virus infections in immune suppressed patients. Disease associated with persistent γ-herpesvirus infection (EBV, HHV-8) a significant problem AIDS patients and transplant recipients, clinical management of these conditions difficult. occurs because failure surveillance control the infection, which arises principally erosion CD4 + T cell compartment. Immune followed by recrudescence can be modeled using murine cell-depleted mice. We show that enhancement IL-2 signaling IL-2/anti-IL-2 complexes substantially improves context immunity enhances infection. This effect was not due solely increased numbers virus-specific CD8 cells but rather enhanced cytotoxicity mediated perforin-granzyme pathway.
