摘要: Hypertension affects one billion individuals worldwide and is considered the leading cause of cardiovascular death, stroke, myocardial infarction. This increase in burden hypertension diseases (CVD) principally driven by lifestyle changes such as increased hypercaloric diets reduced physical activity producing an obesity, insulin resistance, low-grade inflammation. Visceral adipocytes are principal source proinflammatory cytokines systemic inflammation participates several steps development CVD. However, maternal infant malnutrition also persists a major public health issue low- to middle-income regions Latin America (LA). We propose that rates metabolic these countries could be result discrepancy between restricted nutritional environment during fetal early life, nutritionally abundant adulthood. Maternal undernutrition, which may manifest lower birth weight offspring, appears accentuate relative risk chronic disease at levels adiposity. Therefore, LA populations more vulnerable pathogenic consequences obesity than with similar lifestyles high-income countries, mediated higher markers muscle mass strength observed low individuals.
