摘要: Immunoassays are useful laboratory methods for clinical and forensic toxicology diagnostics. The fast, sensitive, accurate let determine poisons concentrations in different kinds of biological fluids. There blood urine or alternative: saliva, sweat hair. choice the sample depends on purpose analysis. In acute poisoning serum poison concentration is important, but when diagnosis made more than 24 h post-ingestion, should be collected analyzed. analysis confirm poison’s ingestion. Alternative samples common, they used usually toxicology, medical results hair determination history drugs overdosing abusing research. Toxicological diagnostics consequence, enables to make distinction if observed patient’s symptoms correlated other reasons. Fast quantitative measurement important confirmation, prognosis decisions about specific treatment. All emergency rooms treatment centers have full access such most immunoassay determinations are: often (e.g. alcohol, benzodiazepines, abuse) decision making ones acetaminophen, phenobarbital, digoxin, amanitines).
