摘要: Diagnosis of often complex-shaped acetabular fractures requires excellent spatial imagination by the traumatologist if he relies only on 2D-imaging techniques like radiographs or computed tomography. Linking these with 3D-views fracture helps to understand how a three-dimensional situation appears in 2D. Based our VOXEL-MAN visualization system, we developed complete 3D-model describe anatomy and pathology standard cases fractures. This model allows derive 3D- views at user’s will. Manipulation adding removing objects, dissection, rotation, zooming is feasible an individual way learning. Working such bears possibility simulate reconstruct CT-slices which contain all anatomical pathological knowledge necessary images. The system proves be powerful both education as clinical reference.
