摘要: We report on the determination of electron densities, and their impact outflow masses rates, measured in central few hundred parsecs 11 local luminous active galaxies. show that peak integrated line emission galactic nuclei (AGN) is significantly offset from systemic velocity as traced by stellar absorption features, indicating profiles are dominated outflow. In contrast, matched inactive galaxies characterized a weaker wing. present three independent estimates density these AGN, discussing merits different methods. The derived [S II] doublet lower than found with method developed last decade using auroral transauroral lines, well recently introduced based ionization parameter. reason that, for gas photoionized an much arises extended partially ionized zone where implicit assumption traces hydrogen invalid. propose ways to deal this situation we derive associated rates gas, which range 0.001–0.5 M⊙ yr−1 our AGN sample. compare relation between ˙M out LAGN literature, argue it may need be modified rescaled towards mass rates.
