摘要: The gas-solid flow in a three-dimensional slot-rectangular spouted bed was studied experimentally and numerically. Predictions from the coupled computational fluid dynamics Discrete Element Method, powerful numerical approach, are compared with experimental measurements. Flow features inside were investigated using pressure transducer an optical fibre probe to obtain profiles of pressure, voidage, particle flux. Static heights 90, 120, 150 mm 2.85-mm diameter particles at different spouting velocities find drop, regime, minimum velocity. For exceeding velocity, measured flux close agreement simulation predictions.
