Cryptorchidism and Testicular Cancer

摘要: An analysis of 125 patients with a history or clinical evidence cryptorchidism and testicular germinal tumor treated at our hospital from 1934 to 1975 is presented. Cryptorchidism was corrected ipsilaterally contralaterally in 83 intrascrotal testis cancer when they were 4 42 years old, either spontaneously (21 patients), by orchiopexy (51 patients) hormonal therapy (11 patients). Forty-two cryptorchid (uncorrected cases) presented ipsilateral inguinal (24 abdominal (14 contralateral tumors (4 Tumor histologic types on orchiectomy pure seminoma 54 patients, embryonal carcinoma 35, teratocarcinoma 33 choriocarcinoma 3. The 5-year survival rates 60 per cent for the cases 63 uncorrected according state, 78 48 other germinomas type. majority (58 73) survivors received regional lymphatic irradiation, 39 seminoma, and/or systemic chemotherapy, 19 carcinomas, without lymphadenectomy.
