摘要: Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) 2 and 9 are zinc-dependent endopeptidases that contribute to the control of breakdown reconstitution extracellular matrix under both normal pathological conditions. The main objective this study was identify presence MMP-2 -9 in mucosa small large intestines clinically healthy beagle dogs using gelatin zymography technique. Intestinal samples from four different parts intestine (duodenum, jejunum, ileum colon) were taken 12 laboratory examined histologically. Based on WSAVA histology standards, recorded findings all considered insignificant. Pro-MMP-2 activities found 17/48 (35%) 25/48 (52%) samples, respectively. Among dogs, had highest positivity rates 7/12 (58.3%) 8/12 (66.7%) for pro-MMP-2 activities, However, statistical analysis showed no significant difference between separate (P>0.05). None intestinal gelatinolytic activity corresponding bands active MMP-9. This could be detected zymography, which seems a useful tool evaluate role pathogenesis canine chronic enteropathies, including inflammatory bowel diseases.
