摘要: Abstract The effect of condensed tannins (CT) on the nutritive value temperate forages and health grazing ruminant animals is reviewed. CT bind with proteins other entities mainly by hydrophobic hydrogen bonding in a pH-reversible manner, which influenced structure molecular weights both proteins. These reactions can be used to reduce degradation forage rumen, without reducing amount microbial protein synthesized. Birdsfoot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus) sulla (Hedysarum coronarium) increase absorption essential amino acids (EAA) from small intestine, but Big pedunculatus) sainfoin (Onobrychis produce no net increase; differences reactivity probably explain these differences. Low concentrations (20–45 g CT/kg DM) rumen due reversible binding populations proteolytic bacteria. several plants (e.g. L. corniculatus sulla) have been shown offer advantages for ruminants, resulted increased milk production, wool growth, ovulation rate, lambing percentage, as well bloat risk internal parasite burdens. This related action increasing EAA intestine; case parasites their inactivation also involved. However, high (>55 g CT/kg generally voluntary feed intake digestibilities, depress rates body growth ruminants. It was concluded that moderate efficiency digestion improve animal under grazing, producing more sustainable systems. effects produced are not same all CT, rather depend upon concentration CT.
