摘要: Literature suggests that self-generated locomotion in infancy and early childhood enhances the development of various cognitive processes. Thus, having access to a power mobility device may play crucial role for overall children with multiple severe disabilities who have limited motor control. This study investigates feasibility use electroencephalography (EEG) as an objective measure changes brain activity these due training. We collected EEG data modified wireless neuroheadset using singlesubject A-B-A-B design consisting two baseline phases (A) intervention (B). One trial consisted three different activities during phase; resting condition at beginning (Resting 1) end 2) trial, interaction adults, passive mobility. The phase included forth activity, mobility, while training was performed within same week collection. spectrum between 2.0 12.0 Hz analyzed Resting 1 2 each phase. found significant increase theta decrease alpha all following first baseline. In comparison previous findings, observations be related alertness and/or anticipation. Analysis percentage change from revealed increasing phase, which could associated performance immediately after Whether observed been influenced or enhanced by remains unclear warrants further
