摘要: A direct Z-scheme type MoO3/Ag2CrO4 composite photocatalyst was successfully fabricated using a facile in situ precipitation method and characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), high-resolution transmission microscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy, ultraviolet–visible diffuse reflection spectroscopy (UV–Vis DRS) photoluminescence (PL). The photocatalytic activity of the as-obtained evaluated photo-degradation methyl orange (MO) under visible light irradiation (λ > 420 nm). Compared with pure Ag2CrO4 MoO3, composites presented enhanced activities degradation MO. Significantly, optimal MoO3(4.0 wt%)/Ag2CrO4 sample showed highest rate MO, which approximately 2.5 times higher than that 13 larger respectively. Such an enhancement could be mainly ascribed to efficient separation photogenerated charge carriers through system composed MoO3. Furthermore, mechanism responsible for binary proposed based on results energy band positions, active species trapping experiments spectroscopy.
