摘要: This paper presents an experimental investigation on the confinement effects of circular steel tubes filled with foamed concrete (FCFST) subjected to axial thrust and bending. The application tube column as a structural element has increased substantially lately. A series investigations was conducted hollow inspect between estimate optimum flexural capacities columns concrete. Twenty (20) numbers specimens sections were tested up failure under compressive loading Various parameters such strength FCFST, load–deflection, mode measured observed. results showed that although maximum composite stub lower than calculated theoretical values squash load (BS5400, Mander ACI), complete behavior can still be observed these specimens. As density increases (from 800 1600 kg/m3), there is apparent quite-significant drop in (percentage) value compared average 17 14%). Meanwhile, slender produced significant moments when obtained via analytical consideration (BS5400).
