摘要: Improving oligodendroglial differentiation from human foetal neural progenitor cells remains a primordial issue to accomplish successful cell-based therapies in myelin diseases. Here, we combined situ, vitro and vivo approaches assess the oligodendrogenic potential of different forebrain regions during first trimester gestation. We show for time that initial wave oligodendrocyte emergence ventral telencephalon onsets as early 7.5 weeks into Interestingly, vitro, isolation ganglionic eminences yielded progenitor-enriched cultures, compared with cortex thalamus. Most importantly, single injection progenitors rodent models focal gliotoxic demyelination revealed great capacity these survive, extensively migrate successfully remyelinate spinal cord, irrespective their origin. Thus, our study brings novel insights biology offers new support development cellular therapeutics disorders.
