The ternary bismuth–iron–antimony system: Experimental phase diagram study and thermodynamic evaluation

摘要: Abstract The ternary system Bi–Fe–Sb has been investigated using differential thermal analysis (DTA), scanning calorimetry (DSC) and electron probe microanalysis (EPMA). Two isoplethic sections were studied: 80 at.% Bi 30 Sb. An isothermal section of the phase diagram was also studied at 523.15 K. Three invariant reactions found: two transitory peritectics one monotectic. No compounds found. In addition, a thermodynamic assessment conducted.
