摘要: The interaction of gene V protein from bacteriophage M13 with the self-complementary tetra-nucleotide d(pC-G-C-G) was studied by 1H and 31P nuclear magnetic resonance. It is shown, using hydrogen-bonded proton resonances Watson-Crick base pairs as a probe, that able to unwind small double-helical fragment even at 0 °C. Binding tetranucleotide causes changes in aromatic part NMR spectrum complex, suggesting residues, most likely tyrosines, take · nucleic-acid interaction. From spectra complex it follows pK value 5′-terminal phosphate lower than for free nucleic acid species. Moreover, could be shown exchange between substrates fast. Combination these measurements has led us derive mechanism unwinding on level. To large extent determined fluctuations DNA structure.
