摘要: A process is described for the production of ammonium polyphosphate employing a novel reactor configuration and reaction technique to convert wet-process phosphoric acid having low content anhydrous ammonia into an product high proportion total P 2 O 5 in form while minimizing operational problems such as scale build up on walls subsequent conversion formed orthophosphate. In this system, heat exothermic ammoniation utilized separately preheat all reactant portion through use staged zone including first stage comprising jacketed free floating tube inlet end which terminates inside jacket second vertically oriented chamber equipped with internal exchange coil sparger injection ammonia. The carried out system by injecting has been preheated via extends tube, said being sized leave annular space fluid communication between jacket, passing required final nitrogen phosphate ratio at point remote from that it contact substantial external surface passes tube. remaining added also functions agitate mass contained therein, thereby increasing transfer coil.
