摘要: The modulation of the phase I and II biotransformation enzymes upon treatment with tobacco extract (TE) N'-nitrosonornicotine (NNN) was investigated using male Sprague-Dawley rats fed differential protein diets. It observed that animals a low diet showed an overall decrease in basal levels hepatic pulmonary enzymes. TE NNN significantly decreased detoxifying system low-protein-fed animals. Animals 20% protein, however, significant increases glutathione S-transferase treatment. Furthermore, brought about depletion pool vitamin A concomitant increase C levels.
