From the Wet Lab to the Web Lab: A Paradigm Shift in Brain Imaging Research.

摘要: Web technology has transformed our lives, and led to a paradigm shift in the computational sciences. As neuroimaging informatics research community amasses large datasets answer complex neuroscience questions, we find that web is best medium facilitate novel insights by way of improved collaboration communication. Here, review landscape technologies used research, discuss future applications, areas for improvement, limitations using research. Fully incorporating lifecycle requires not only technical skill, but widespread culture change; from small, focused "wet lab" multidisciplinary largely collaborative "web lab".
