The Effectiveness of Group Training of CBT-Based Stress Management on Anxiety, Psychological Hardiness and General Self-Efficacy Among University Students

摘要: BACKGROUND: Admission to university is a very sensitive period of life for efficient, active, and young workforces in any country, it mostly associated with many changes social human relationships. These lead anxiety students. Moreover, humans need certain functions order adaptively deal different situations challenges. By training stress management, these can help acquire the required abilities. OBJECTIVE: The present study was aimed at investigating effectiveness management anxiety, psychological hardiness, general self-efficacy among METHOD: quasi-experimental intervention (pretest-posttest-follow-up) including control group, fundamental applied study. statistical population consisted all students Islamic Azad University, Karaj, Iran. Convenient sampling employed select 30 who were divided into an experimental group (n=15) (n=15). Before training, both groups filled out Beck Anxiety Inventory, Long Goulet scale General Self-efficacy Scale (GSE-10). Afterwards, provided training. And after experiment, abovementioned questionnaires scales responded by two groups. Finally collected data analyzed compared using one-way MANOVA. RESULTS: results MANOVA indicated that there significant difference between terms (p<0.001). CONCLUSION: According those previous investigations are agreement study, be concluded cause drop; moreover, enhances their hardiness self-efficacy. In regard role importance this skill should included educational plans university.
