摘要: Mixtures of the anionic surfactants sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and dodecanoate (SDoD) were investigated regarding their ability to bind a hydrophilic nonionic polymer, polyethylene oxide (PEO). By electrical conductivity measurements, parameters with respect onsets surfactant aggregation determined in presence 0.06 M PEO (critical concentration) its absence micelle concentration). It was found that both plots these for multicomponent mixtures against molar fraction SDoD showed an ideal mixing behavior. The same technique used estimate degree ionization as fundamental parameter relating interfacial composition mixed aggregates. In addition, order monitor changes polymer-surfactant structures, we steady-state quenching fluorescence measurements characterize sizes PEO-SDS/SDoD complexes at different compositions complex mixture.
