摘要: Aims: To determine yields, germination and stability of superdormant Bacillus cereus spores. Methods Results: Superdormant B. cereus spores were isolated by with high concentrations inosine or l-alanine in 2–5% yield did not germinate either these germinants, but germinated like starting Ca-DPA, dodecylamine, plus concentrated complete medium. Yields from germinations low higher, poorly inosine, relatively normally inosine. also higher when nonheat-activated germinated. stored at 4°C slowly recovered some capacity, recovery was slowed significantly −20°C −80°C. Conclusions: Factors that influence levels the properties such are similar to those B. megaterium B. subtilis, suggesting there common mechanisms involved superdormancy spores. Significance: a major concern food industry, because presence precludes decontamination strategies based on triggering spore followed mild killing treatments. Studies may suggest ways eliminate them.
