摘要: Arvicolines are susceptible to the development of fatty liver during short-term fasting. We examined potential role de novo lipogenesis (DNL) (i) in fasting-induced and (ii) a population cycle by measuring mRNA expression acetyl-CoA carboxylase-1 (ACC1) acid synthase (FAS). Laboratory voles (Microtus oeconomus Microtus arvalis) were fed or fasted for 12 18 h their levels determined. Both species showed decreased ACC1 FAS This suggests that DNL does not participate voles, different from human non-alcoholic disease. In wild bank (Myodes glareolus), genes interest higher decline compared increase phase. conclusion, was suppressed acute fasting but upregulated long-term decline—a period purported scarcity high-quality food.
