摘要: The movement behavior of glycerol–water mixtures as sessile drops on a tilted PTFE incline is investigated here. slip angles found showed complex relationships in relation to the mixture composition. Since drop was breach its front contact line first, levels angle hysteresis did not have corresponding trends with angles. However, ratios lengths (at point detachment against that at equilibrium) had angle. elongated two-stage manner it progressively. this could be ascribed sudden change gravitational force acting, implied extended first single body before attempting split into two. In considering energetics involved, solid–liquid area mainly used by adjust energy supplied gravity. Comparative experiments done compression and extension same surface eliminated contribution from specific characteristics associated liquid solid, inaccuracies measurement method used. Turbidity measurements indicate viability using higher glycerol content improve thermal stability bovine serum albumin. findings important implications how heat mass transfer occurs for inclines biochemical applications.
