摘要: The prime directive of the dividing cell is to pass on two identical copies its genetic blueprint. This requires accurate replication DNA and segregation replicated chromosomes. cycle control machinery regulates progression from one phase chromosome next, ensuring that (S phase) alternates with (mitosis) maintain a constant ploidy. In most cells, growth coordinated division average size; length gap phases occur before (G1) after (G2) S must therefore be regulated. contrast, early embryonic occurs in absence growth, so consists solely rapidly alternating M phases. Despite these distinct physiologies, common biochemical all eukaryotic cells.
