摘要: Abstract Simple mixed finite element models are developed for the free vibration analysis of curved thin-walled beams with arbitrary open cross section. The analytical formulation is based on a Vlasov's type beam theory which includes effects flexural-torsional coupling, and additional transverse shear deformation rotary inertia. fundamental unknowns consist seven internal forces generalized displacements beam. characteristic arrays obtained by using perturbed Lagrangian-mixed variational principle. Only C 0 continuity required displacements. Lagrange multiplier allowed to be discontinuous at interelement boundaries. Numerical results presented demonstrate high accuracy effectiveness elements developed. standard comparison taken solutions two-dimensional plate/shell beams.
