摘要: Personalization is an effective means for accommodating differences between individuals. Therefore, the personalization of a system’s user interface (UI) features can enhance usability. To date, UI approaches have been largely divorced from psychological theories personality, and profiles constructed by extant techniques do not map directly onto fundamental personality traits examined in psychology literature. In line with recent calls to ground design information systems behavioral theory, we maintain that informed literature advantageous. More specifically, advocate approach termed “personalityzation”, where are adapted explicit model user’s personality. We demonstrate proposed personalityzation through proof-of-concept context social recommender systems. identify two key contributions research. First, extending prior works on adaptive interfaces, introduce framework grounded theory Second, reflect how our could inform discourse research regarding theoretical grounding design.
