摘要: In lightly reinforced concrete (RC) structures, the area of steel cannot be lower than a minimum value, so that ultimate limit state can reached under yielding moment higher cracking moment. Also in serviceability stage, amount reinforcement should provided tensile zones, order to reduce crack widths. fiber-reinforced (FRC) members, due presence structural fibers cementitious matrix, significantly reduced. Fiber guarantee stresses cement-based matrix even wide cracks. Therefore, for same cross-section steel, FRC member bending show moments, and reduced widths, those measured classical RC beams. This is particularly true case massive like structures tunnel linings. For such elements, starting from constitutive relationships recommended by Rilem TC 162-TDF, new approach evaluation proposed this paper. By means nonlinear model, it possible calculate calculated according Eurocode 2 162-TDF prescriptions.
