摘要: Cyanobacteria are widely distributed in marine, aquatic, and terrestrial ecosystems, play an important role the global nitrogen cycle. In present study, we examined genome sequence of thermophilic non-heterocystous N2-fixing cyanobacterium, Thermoleptolyngbya sp. O-77 (formerly known as Leptolyngbya O-77) characterized its nitrogenase activity. The this cyanobacterial strain consists a single chromosome containing fixation gene cluster. A phylogenetic analysis indicated that NifH amino acid from was clustered with those group mesophilic species: highest identity found KIOST-1 (97.9% identity). activity cells dependent on illumination, whereas high intensity light 40 μmol m-2 s-1 suppressed effects illumination.
