摘要: Abstract Exocytosis and gelation of the granule contents amebocyte Limulus polyphemus have been studied in a perfusion chamber observed with Nomarski differential interference contrast microscopy. Degranulation response to bacterial endotoxin or ionophore A23187 was significantly inhibited by anion channel blocking agents suramin, SITS, DNDS sodium isethionate. db-cAMP, PGI2 theophylline also succeeded imparing degranulation amebocytes. All tested produced inhibition which readily reversed washing system free inhibitor rechallenging amebocytes either ionophore. After isolation vitro, underwent spontaneous absence at rate 1–2 orders magnitude slower than presence endotoxin. Gelation clottable protein released from granules could occur This is first demonstration under endotoxin-free conditions.
