摘要: Abstract Nano crystalline Cd1-xZnxS (x = 0.00–1.00 at. %) films were deposited on glass substrates through conventional chemical spray pyrolysis method at different temperatures. The with x   0.60. Further the x = 0.40–0.60 seem to be porous and well-suited for gas sensing applications. EDS confirmed presence of Cd, Zn S expected stoichiometry. optical transmittance energy band gap increased increasing temperature x. shift absorption edge shorter wavelength content has made film high transparent in blue region. extinction coefficient reduced x Urbach shown formation defects. Photoluminescence spectra exhibited broad emission bands which could deconvoluted multiple peaks attributable defect states. resistivity that resulted decrease carrier concentration was determined Hall Effect measurements. crystallinity found influence photo-response films. Cd contents showed excellent photo response can used as photo-detector due its rapid decline resistance smaller grain fibrous structured large open surface area obtained here, while, x > 0.60 are fabrication window layers solar cells.
